Leann Manning, owner and photographer of Honeybee & Peony, specializes in natural-light High School Senior & Family Photography.

Her goal is to capture fun, warm, authentic images of your family and your milestones.

Leann began her career in photography upon graduating from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities with a degree in studio arts and a concentration on photography. She began her photography career photographing weddings (on film!!) which were published in Minnesota Bride magazine, Wisconsin Bride magazine, the Knot.com and the Knot magazines.

When her first son was born in 2007, her work naturally shifted towards children and families and has been photographing children and families in the Twin Cities Metro now for over 18 years. She is mom of 2 active teenage boys and their dog Charlie.

Leann has worked with children as an older sister, baby-sitter, nanny, aunt and mother, and brings her exuberant attitude and energy to all her shoots. She takes joy in capturing the real moments and details that family life entail while combining those real moments with portraits as well.  It is a privilege for her to be able to give people something tangible to cherish in the form of photographs.
